God reached into Space-Time to us by the Old Testament Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself (the very Word, Logos, of God), and by The Holy Spirit of God.  By all these means, God did so using words, communicating from the Infinite-Eternal (and Absolutely Holy) by language.   We who have been created in the image of God have been given the estimable privilege of hearing God’s Word, and grasping it under the ongoing, necessary ministry of The Holy Spirit.

Of particular note to us here is the particular tool of poetic language that God has used in such communication.  Such text are commonly known as “Wisdom Poetry,” and primarily comprise the Five Wisdom Books of the Old (Hebrew) Testament:  Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon.

Our purpose here is to explore certain of the great principles that have been expressed in these Wisdom Books.  A separate site contains a full study of the Book of Job:  www.iDealmaking.org  or  www.TheGreatLifeFormula.org

The primary power of God’s poetic expression is comparison, contrast, and progression of underlying ideas in a series of lines of text.  Rhyming of vowels, or alliteration of consonants, is not used in Biblical poetry; rather there is a kind of rhyming and alliteration of key words and ideas.
